Shipping & Returns
We offer shipping worldwide using Australia Post for all Australian orders and a courier service for our international shipments. we recommend providing a daytime address and phone number when placing your order so that your order can reach you in a timely manner.
All prices are in Australian dollars.
All orders within Australia will be shipped free of charge. All other orders will be charged as follows:
International: $25 for items under $300. over $300 free of charge.
You may be required to pay further shipping charges in the instance of change of address or delivery time.
We attempt to have all orders processed and shipped within two business days. Delivery times can vary based on location, please allow longer for regional and international orders. if you have an urgent delivery request please contact email@example.com and we can arrange a suitable outcome.
Peak Period Shipping Time
During sale activity and seasonal peak periods there may be a delay in order processing and shipment. During these periods please allow a further three to five days for shipment to metropolitan areas and four days to all other areas.
Please note shipping times are only our best estimate and can vary due to a number of factors. We will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. Orders are subject to availability. Taxes and Duties
Please note customs duties and foreign taxes may be payable before your order is cleared by customs. Desert Designs will not be held responsible for any charges incurred nor can we provide an estimate of these costs. Please contact your local customs office for more information regarding taxes and duties payable in your region.
Ownership and Risk
Upon delivery at your specified address, ownership and risk of damage is transferred to the customer. We require a signature upon delivery; if you are placing an order as a gift please use the name of the intended recipient in the shipping address form located at the checkout. We will not be held responsible for any undeliverable orders. In the instance that the intended recipient is unavailable it is up to the customer to organise re-delivery with Australia Post or the courier company.
If you wish to cancel an order please contact email@example.com and provide the order number emailed to you at time of order placement and reason for cancellation. If your order was placed after 10am on a business day please notify us via email at: firstname.lastname@example.org before 10am the following day. We will be unable to process a cancellation of your order if we are not notified of your intention to cancel the order by 10am the following day.
At Desert Designs we take great pride in the quality of our products and the customer service we provide. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase or you would like a refund for another reason please see the information below.
We are happy to offer our customers an exchange on a product if the item(s) are:
- in original purchase condition.
- all tags, stickers are intact.
- the exchanged items are accompanied by original purchase receipt.
- please make your purchase carefully as we do not offer a refund on an incorrect choice. exchanges are made at the original sale price.
All exchanges must be posted back within 14 days of original delivery date.
If you wish to return a full priced product for an exchange or store credit please click here and complete the return request form. Our customer service team will then assess your return request and if approved will confirm your return request. Please include your original receipt and order number with your return.

Please make your selection carefully as we do not offer refunds. Exchanges are subject to availability and we will not be held liable if your desired exchange is unavailable.
*If your return shows visible signs of wear or if the product is not in original condition with all tags, labels and stickers intact we will not process the return.
Returns should be posted via registered post to:

if you wish to return a faulty item please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to receive a return request form. We will then confirm your exchange. Please include your original receipt and order number with your return. For faulty returns we will organise a courier to collect your order, please include your original receipt as well as your order number. Once we receive your return our customer service team will then assess the faulty item. If deemed faulty we can offer an exchange, store credit or refund.
If you wish to cancel an order please contact email@example.com and provide the order number emailed to you at time of order placement and reason for cancellation immediately. In some cases it's possible the order may have been shipped already, unfortunately in this case we cannot cancel the order and it will need to be treated as a return or exchange.
